Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

We are committed to supporting our members who are concerned about their finances because of the coronavirus pandemic. If you are experiencing or foresee any financial difficulty, some information about how we can help is given below.

Mortgage Customers

We will discuss your circumstances with you and we will work with you to explore the options available, which might include:

  • • Making reduced mortgage payments for a period. It is important to understand that arrears will accrue during a   period of missed or reduced payments, so we would need to agree at some point how the arrears will be repaid.
  • • Temporary transfer to Interest Only, so for a period, you only pay the interest you owe (rather than the capital   amount).
  • • Extending the term of your mortgage, so you reduce your monthly repayments by spreading the amount you owe   over a longer period of time.
